In 2007, when I started blogging, many things was happening in my life then. It always seems to be good to be young, you think so?

I thought, it was a misperception we might have, while experiencing those eagerness and energy about life. Especially, into the practicality of life. With full force, we speed and give it all we have without reservation, thinking and believing that was and is the one, most important task or mission we needed to begin in life.

Continuing at that speed, new terms, new relationships rushes into this life. Knowing that you are overwhelmed by it but you decided that these were only the effects of the practical life. Moving on, things get exciting for you. You became more certain that this was the way to go. Reaching your hands and setting your eyes even further to a goal or place where you believe that it has to be, for you.

One step into it. A whole new environment. Brand new friends. No. Acquaintance. You are excited again. A smooth journey through the year(s) did not set you thinking anything. BUT when things began to change, you faced the first slap on your face. It was not how you though it should have been, neither was it the way you wanted it to be.Environment changed, so did people. Selfishness are all visible in your eyes. How bad can it be? Do you still trust? No. I should say, Can you still trust? You can and did.

Another door opened. Stand still or take risk and move one step forward [or one step backward; you didn't know]. You just moved, that's all you know. And then, the light begun to shine on you earnestly without hesitation. Finally, you felt it and want to change, be selfish and re-energize for what you should really be for this practical life. It doesn't matter how long it takes, but how well have you evolve from it and raise yourself up to the world in your own way. Simply, restart.

The first word to learn and act, this year.

I was away for too long?

Well, not exactly, I have cleared many things I wanted to do this year. Although there are prices and sacrifices to pay, but it is all worthwhile. I had probably learned four important things in this year. Too early to talk about year end feelings...lol

CHOICE, DO NOT WORRY, BELONGING, DO NOT REGRET.

Simple words like this just meant so much to me. It is about very decision I make in life, every step I take forward, every stroke I swim against all odds and every sight I see ahead of me.

Along the way, there are some who critics, comments, suggests, objects, cares, and even worries for me but I felt the most when someone sincerely encourages me. It may be a type of reassurance but it works magic! Seriously.

Self-Consciousness? How much does it matter to you?

I want to thanks all those who have encouraged me in one way or another in my life this year especially. Your words or actions has bring some magic into my life. Truly appreciate it. I meant it! (though i'm a person of few words when face to face talking about such thing, in my heart I appreciate you) :)

24. years.

It takes much knowledge, awareness and sharing to make us reflect on all gifts given to and taken from us.

Since young, we have lived in this condition where our parents has work hard to provide for us, the best. Yet, as we've grown up we have forgotten to reflect the efforts by them; for who we are today.

To make it worse, we've taken advantage of it - making them work even harder. Terrible.

Life was very simple. For all I know, to stay alive on basic economical need.
Be fed, dressed and a shelter over your head.

This may sound very redundant to be mention. Of course we all knew it very well but we, human, just likes to demand more things.

To be fed with simple bread and butter, rice and veggies; enough?
I think millions and trillions of hungry people will be more than happy if there is sufficient water.

First world country ;wasting food which can help feed many more. Though many believe to donate $$ to help the hungry. Does it work? The never ending demand on food quality and freshness on scarce resources inflates price.

Worsening the situation, prices of further food donation are inflated even when we do not want to.

Being fed becomes such a complicated topic, what's more to say about being dressed.

Now, being dressed, in modernised world its about style, cut, quality, texture and fashion trend.

Step out of your comfort zone now!
Do something different to how you spend on food, clothes and other spendings.
Don't say "I don't know how!"
It's all about trying and conditioning yourself to change and be a flexible person in all situation.

Be mindful that any incident that may happen around you can change everything you have, enjoyed till now.

For me, learning a new word all over again - Appreciate.

My CHOICE to be back!!

I'm back here.

With a different perspective to relationships with people, after the CHOICE retreat, it gave me wider view and greater appreciation.

Although it can be easily understood that there are many people who loves you and wants to belong to you in a relationship but sometimes we are blinded by modernization that it overpowered or ruled the purest of a relationship.

It takes effort, lots of effort to begin, maintain, control and balance it.

Some reminders each day can be helpful at times.

I've once been told that - I may have change within myself but the world has not and this is THE challenge.

Tough? Maybe but we still need to face it and spread this awareness to more people.

Parents belonging to their children.
A child's belonging to his/her parents regardless of age,status/wealth.
A brother/ sister belonging to his/her siblings.
A husband/wife's belonging his/her spouse.
A person's belonging to his/her partner or friends.
One's belonging to another, is such a miraculous thing.

These exams, I had a better peace of mind than before. Not so conscious of getting fantastic grades or nervous about papers. Felt more calm than ever. Even I, myself, was surprised of my behaviour.

Take things easy and it will be alright. I've learnt.

Do not worry about what will happen in the future, for what comes tomorrow or even the next seconds are not meant for us to worry.

Worrying does not help to resolve physical issues or emotional burdens, instead it loads on more.
So why worry?

Well now, I just need to learn to be loved to balance my relationship with my closed ones - family and friends.
Yes, very random... lol ...its just me.

past 9 days she was away.

i did felt empty and missed her. >.<
not that she was never away for trips but its just different this time.

like a missing piece in my heart. finally she is coming back today. So glad.

I can only say, our mum loves us more than we love them and this is very true. if you agree with me...

we can never do enough to love them as much.
ironically, they worry more for us than we do ourselves.

may those whose family members who had left them in any natural disaster, accidents; be strong and stand again.
may they find peace and forgiveness to those around them.
may every beat of our hearts, be a voice of encouragement and hope to them.
may the missing piece in their heart be filled the way he had planned for them to be

I feel much happier now home and studying.

I have lost so much time. I realized. Not being able to do things which helps the ppl around us.

Why was time spent on the small fame or wealth which will not follow us to God.

Silly as it can be.

Many more ppl need help in different ways. What they need are food, comfort and care.

For those who have more than that, do not desire these.
But they have neglected those who need it right away whether they are near or far.

for the last 4 days it hasn't been good. happy not exactly. energetic not really. working hard, for the wrong cause.

who and what are the priorities in my life. I wonder. when and how am I handling it. I wonder.

my energy, strength, and madness seems to have driven too far away from me to keep me alive with joy and happiness.

reality has come closer to me ever since. I was wrong in everything. how far more can I go. I wonder.

where is the heart of mine which touches the life of others around me. now I no longer feel touched. why? I wonder.

accept who I am or change who I am. i really am not happy. nothing is keeping me there but my faith. I'm hanging onto it really hard and not letting it go because he has never let me go.

in my lowest point in life, in my most sad moments in life, in my most worrying time in life I know he is always there to guide me, help me and shower me with love. I thank him.

it is for who he made me to be. I live.

please keep reminding me that I should love others as much as he loves us.

whole of this week was not good.

This period of advent has been more meaningful to me than ever.

Now it is not so much about - christmas food, presents, shoppings and parties.

It's a preparation to know who and why a special person will be coming to us on this day. Every event creates who and where we are now. It is his grace for us that we are saved. Grace gives encourages and gives us hope(2 Thessalonians 2:16). It transforms and help us in our times of need (1 Corinthians 15:9-10; Hebrews 4:16)

Allow your grace and its power to make me a new creation

I will specially pray for the souls of the ones who faces the most difficult period of life.

to the the slower pace of life, a closing chapter, a quieter month, resting month, reflective period.

very glad that I had a relaxing and simple day today. Felt re-energised to keep moving on. This is so important to me as I needed it so much.

what more can we ask of life. Just a quiet moment to listen, feel and see our surroundings of beautiful voices, scenes, people and events that happens. Happiness can spread so can Love.

the bottom line of every emotion and motion is Love. so, it does bring along peace.

I've just learnt today. 2 type of peace.
Peace, where fear was created in people, derive from a protection against your enemies. Always fighting for this "peace"
Peace, where they are unarmed, dervie from within the heart to whom is seeking for it. Harmony will come.

i had till now 37 albums.

Some with many photos, some with little but on a average each month I have at least 2 albums..
this is so much more than the last few years.

all these are memories from bday celebration to outdoor activities, dinning, choir gatherings, museum visiting, holiday trips, IR sight seeing, baby showers,food gatherings, wedding celebrations, Concerts, CNY, charity & volunteer work, Angel's visit, DnD, horse watching, kite flying, Bali trip, Dini's wedding...and etc..

and I'm not ending the year just with 37 albums cos I'm even more packed in Nov till Dec.

So many more things are happening closely together in the next 1 & 1/2 mths. I'll definitely have more to share before I close the Chapter for 2010 !

I was at Gianyar attending Dini & Gusti Wedding with Michelle and Sis, YK.

Fortuin is where we settle our seafood dinner, located at Jimbanran Beach.

Not only the places and views that are holding me back but also the people, culture, environment and slow pace lifestyle.

I've come to realise that life in Singapore are always spinning around all our wants and desires...

In fact, we just need to satisfy our needs to live good, simple and happily.

Families who lives together had such great bonds that in the modern city, it is hard to find.

Modern families like to compare their monetary, or community status. Helping hands are so difficult to seek for even in your own family.

Yet living in a big community, foster the bonds between family and neighbours.

thus, the grass of the other field is always greener.

please appreciate everything you have in life and don't always demand so much and waste so much on the unnecessary. Money and skills can bring you to a social level but it will not buy you happiness. It has to come from somewhere in you. Only then you can share the happiness with others like a lovely child will. Remember, we were once a child too, bringing happiness to many.

it was a quick and fast shopping on Tuesday night for present but it was a good one. hopefully she will like it.

I must say Mel was crazy tonight, so were I.
I just can't believe that someone actually bring a table calender out from office to an off-site meeting. Not only 1 staff but 3 staffs who did the same, attending the same meeting!
Moreover, they brought their "super" big and non-scientific calculators too!!!

I just can't stop laughing. So sorry mel. It was really funny.
the thought of you bringing it back to office. Really hilarious as you have your handphone calendar!

Never mind, for your new year present I will buy you a "big" diary!! hahaha...

Venue: Bugis / Arab street

it has really been a long time since we've last met and catch up.

it was an interesting restaurant along Arab street. Thanks to Damien and Ed for walking the whole afternoon to look for the quietest emptiest and self occupied restaurant with 2nd level solely to ourselves. Awesome!

its a middle eastern and western cuisine restaurant. nice food and quiet environment on a Saturday night. Unbelievable. Totally different compared to restaurants in Bugis Junction where there is long queue, and you may get chase away "indirectly".
They has a TV set, platform seats (cosy) and good serving timing.. I suspected that they had a camera somewhere...

We shared many. Hottest topic was back to camp days and all the weird and stupid stuff we might/might not have done. Like Candice and Ed has dance in a group together...and Damien had the video?! lol.. the truth was not this..
Video found - it was a sabotage by (then) freshmen on Ed and me to do the dance on the spot with them...by watching a demo from the laptop. (faints).

It was definitely memories less than a decade..but I do have hard time recalling. Videos and photos really helps a lot.

I wish I could gather as muany photos as possible..and probably take time off and just do scrapbook on this..bet its going to be stacks and stacks of it...

those days were really lovely and carefree. It was so fun and wonderful to have them as part of my life. Thanks to you for my life had been great with you sharing with me. And I sharing yours... :P

For many years, I've never thought about failure and what about it.

Only recently 2 years ago, I understand that failures are not just the tools to pull us down to the lowest point in life. It is the only one which show us the right pathway to succeed against failure, itself.

The emotions we have are based on the failures we faced.

The fear of returning back to the starting point.

The disappointment from our expectations.

The faith in ourselves.

The believe that we will pick up from failure and return with success.

The trust that your friends is there to support you and not look down on you.

The guts to challenge yourself.

The determination to follow through.

The hope that everything is possible.

The hardwork which is worthy, no matter what the results are.

The strength to carry you through hardships,

The love which is the neverending force behind you.

Love from your family, friends and even those whom you care less about.

Please do not give up on yourself even when others have. Because no one can set the limits on you, except yourself!

V - work

well, it was my "don't how may times" doing v - work. I must say was really interesting and good. nothing difficult for anyone - especially it was just food distribution.

all you need is arm strength, a good attitude, good nature, nice partners, and a big Smilez to bring happiness and joy to the beneficiaries.

we were just the messager, middle man who help to deliver these kind thoughts to them.
in total there were 700 or more families who benefited from this. our team of 4 only had to distribute to 10 families.

i really like the v - work offer in my current work place. its definitely very meaningful.

am very keen to look for more v - work from other organisation but not too sure to begin.

remember to never stop giving as you are always receiving.

Angel, Welcome to Singapore...

it was such a meaningful gathering since friday. Angel was in singapore and we brough her around, eat, walk, see, shop and explore.

head down to orchard; lucky plaza, realizing exchange rate at Mustafa is better.
teabreak @ paragon DOME cafe - equivilent to having lunch as we've taken a half-day from work to accompany Angel. She is so crazy about photoshots!! a camera at hand, nothing can run away from her cams. not even mical! lol

we went to Trattoria@ 313 somerset, a italian restaurant (mical's fav) after Mical and Angel's rewarding shopping at Forever21 and Mel's joining after work.

we chill out at coffee bean@ illuma till 1am. Mical and I head back to Angel's hotel for the night.
the queen-sized bed was just nice for us.

I need to wake up really early to be ready for the next meaninful activity - volunteer on food distribution to the needy.

Manage to catch up with Angel, Mel, Irene for dinner at Le Cave@ Chjimes. Interesting concept to offer both western and thail food.

overly excited was Mel and Irene till the extend - they insist to drink TW bubble tea .. ps: Angel is from TW.
my dear, it was super long queue @ KOI which i can not understand why. we went to "i love taimei" store after knowing there is no pearl @ KOI.

after a short stroll, we ended at Molly Roffrey's for drinks. - more like a irish pub, near SAM.

To think that we will end here. NO.
We went to sing @ Top one, bugis street. Thanks to Irene for the ride there. Just 2 hours and it was madness yet to be crazy! Unbelieveable for me after having only less than 6 hours of slp last night and having a early morning on sunday. I stayed.

Lastly, we proceed to the comfortable hotel. Chat and I had a little nap. (i'm so super tired)
Left like 3am - reach home slpt at est 4am...gosh and i actually woke up at 6plus am to get ready for church.

It's been so long since I've had such hectic schedule!! Well maybe stamina is not as good, otherwise I'm less crazy and mad then previous (just a little).

Shall get some sleep soon..

Just attended a wedding this sat, invited by a lovely couple whose daughter is getting married.

I was really glad to have the chance to cantor in their wedding ceremony in church. For every word I meant it from the bottom of my heart to wish the newly couple, as it is this same song which I do love too.

After reading the lyrics, you may know why I really love this song. I would also like to have this song for my wedding too! It's really beautiful -

Dinner was also another happy affair for us all. Lotsa of photo shots and laughters.
It was held at Amara Spa Resort, Sentosa. Lovely place.
the Groom was a British, so they've got this long speech by the bestman - - - really long..
They also had the First Dance of the night. (at the open dance floor) Cool.

believe that love is always in the air. it is the most wonderful gift we receive and give.

Great heights with greater views

It is mid-Aug!

Class has started just 2 weeks ago and work has also start to pick up - I mean more load.

Well, just about a month ago, adapting into a new working environment, colleagues, team and boss. It hasn't been easy for me since. Few asked "how am I doing now?", well I'll always say "it's been fine and managing well."

Changes and adaptation is really part of life. Always remember not to take things too hard when you are met with difficulties. Believe that there is always a way and solution for everything.

4 units this sem!!! super heavy. Results are coming out soon.. Confident to have done well to proceed with this 4 units.

At least, I've gave myself a break away trip to Bintan before sem start. It was really nice especially the spa treatment. Well, I'm going for a nex trip in a 1 and half month's time. Attending Dini's wedding in Bali!!!

A simple weekend has just passed...with saturday spending the sweet morning singing and the afternoon observing how magnificent the mahjong game can be. Quick dip into the pool at late afternoon...ended with wonderful dinner at Puggol Choon Seng Seafood @ ex- Changi A&E building...

Speed of adapting to changes

I really want to share photos with you here but I really had no time to
1. log on to computer after work
2. log on to computer on weekends
3. load the photos onto my computer then onto blog
4. wait for photo to load on blog (always so long)

I could only quickly load on facebook.. so see whatever is there!! hahah anyway I'm back to a short hair gal le!!! so much cooler now!!
ps. my colleague actually commented its cute like high school girl. Oh my I'm like (!?) what I don't want.. faint!! Nvm..

Ever since I've returned to work place, changes begins to take place.
Am I offered/ asked/assigned to replace/take a new/existing role? Well, till now there isn't much light to my question. So, don't bother too much about it.

Since I've decided to take this up compared to what I was doing in the last 2 months then I shall do my best. I may not be equip with the sufficient skills for this new task but I am ready to learn the pick up new skills.

Just merely 6 months and there has been so much changes, having realised that there are many uncertainties due to unsure factors. Yet, we must not view it as an obstacle in our journey ahead. In fact, our ability of adapting to these changes in a fastest and smartest way is put to test.

New skills required, new environment to adapt, new colleagues to interact, new boss to understand, new job to perform, new desk to be comfortable to, new lunching places, new wake up time, new going home time, new equipment at work, new role (yet still have mixed responsibility), new determination, new knowledge to acquire, new pace at work and new culture too!!!Talk Talk talk I need to talk.

Time for study pause has arrived! After spending the last 9 days (out off 11 days leave) on study, now, I will fully utilise the next 2 days to have a break, breathe the fresh air around me.

This includes the movie air, shopping air, salon air(think it smells too), eating air (tasty too), cool air, freedom and happy air (definitely a must).

Just ended my last paper at 5.30pm on Tuesday, 11 May 2010.

Funny things happen just before the exam started. Firstly, examination venue is at Sg Expo. I went to check for my seating number outside Hall 7, realising that there was no seats for Bsc Banking & Finance students..(shock ++close to panic) luckily, I overheard that there is another, at Hall 9! I see, my seating no. must be there.

Yes, my name was on the list outside Hall 9. Phew.. cold sweat'''
Check, noted that its Row 29, Seat 1149. Verified with the seating map too.
15 mins before paper starts.. a guy walk towards me and say "excuse me, think this is my seat." (??) I replied confidently, " No, my seat no is 1149." He walk off to double check.

5-7 mins later he return and say. "Yes. This is my seat." (erm, this time, I better go check again since he's so sure) Arg.. pack my stationary and stuff with me and went to check with the helpdesk.

Correct, it is Row 29. 1149 is correct, but it is the index no of the listing...=.= not my seat number...
It should be 1154. The most ironical thing to happen is that the index no. exists in the same row. Thus, resulted in such a silly act of me and mistake.

Just in time to seat down at the right place, settle down 2 mins before paper start.. (worse, am having headache). Realised later that I'm not the only 1 with such silly act. Another guy's was worse, paper has already started. (-.-) I was lucky!

Right after paper. Treated my parent to watch IP MAN 2 (葉问2) - Comment is, Good, worth watching. One of the better recent movie from HK movie market, can't wait to see more good HK movie! They were so good in the past, but affected by piracy..

Next few activities would keep me busy for 2 whole day. Catching Iron Man 2 (omy with WOL pals since we last met) *happy*, Shopping with Mel, Haircut, food tasting too, on wednesday, which is today! Thats fast. (1.58am)

Thursday would be church first, then The Backup Plan with Caroline, then met Eve and Stef for swim, sing song at Eve's changi club house.. hoho hoho so happening. hahah (i must go buy new swim suit, old one is dying soon)

Friday. Work! - Don't know what to expect. But sure a moutainous high backlogs and issues to be settle. Never mind, shan't think about this now since I've finally put down the study cap. Still too soon to put back the working cap. Now, it has to be the happy cap. :P

Sat, even more meaningful, volunteering (company's) to bringi MINDS kids to SG flyer with games.. looking forward to it.. Such a meaningful event.. (for me at least) though those who are going are super "heads" of section... (wonder how they will take it). Cos no matter what, these kids have a much simpler mind than us (or "them") opps... badmouthing but nvm, only my friend, you, are reading. hehehe...(just sharing ok)

I've shared photos I've took of SHE Concert on my facebook... too big to load into this space... and its super slow to load!!! Give up doing it. If you want to have a glance, go see my facebook. (since i'm on leave, i've, ironically, be frequent on Fb and MSN. Think this will last for only the next 2 days!!!hahahha

Someone once said to me that I am stuck into the life of the "typical" working life of 9 to 5 timing, Mon - Friday week. And the only forward looking we can have is climbing higher in position, earning more and having power in which ever aspect.

If life really this way?

I would say, yes, I am working on a standard working hours and patterns. Boring? Not exactly, because I take this a every important learning journey in life. No matter which level, rank, position and company I am in. Most importantly is that I truely enjoy these moments.

I've gone through some bad moments last few months. Feeling the most uncertainty that life can bring since the last 23 years, that faces of people whom really cares for you, who really just care for themselves, who are really hopeless in controlling the situation, who once given you their words but unable to fulfill it, who are truely aggressive, who can be even worse situation then you are now.

Life is practical. So it the truth, it's cruel.

This does not mean that we can run away. Ultimately, you still have to face it, not now but later.

Block leave ever since has always been used for exams preparation. Without exams, study, what would I be doing? Trip to Newzealand, find Danielle / Taiwan find Angel / Korea always want to go / Bali / Phuket / Rest at home, spend time with family.

I've taken a pause from work for the next 11days! But no pause for study.

It is the ever working and moving me that makes me aware that precious time are spend meaningfully to where it suppose to be... Do not be bounded by the name of "work". It only occupies 25% of ur 7 days week!! leh....

ok I shall continue to use my remaining block leave to concentrate for my papers.. (keep enriching yourself with more knowledge from books and surrounding experience!)

If friends show no interest in maintaining contact with each other then the relationship may break down.

As people gets older, it becomes more difficult to form close relationship.

One reason is adults develop a more complex perspective towards friendships due to life experiences.

Sometimes even closest friendships may not last forever. The loss of a good friendship to some may be just as devasting as breaking up with a romantic partner.

It is said that friendships last when there are strong elements involved, like trust, support, warmth, and two-way interactions.

"If the loss friendship is not your fault then do not blame yourself. Invest your energy in making new friends who share your values and lifestyle."

The Art of Socialising

Friendship is like a ball game.

You throw the ball, extending your hand of friendship and hope someone catches it and reciprocates.

However, at times, you may be greeted with the dull thud of the ball hitting the floor bacause there is no one around who will retun the throw. Is it hard to make and hold on to friends?

Factors like being shy and having poor communications and social skills may hinder people from pursuing and holding on to friendships effectively.

Having good social skills is an art. These includes having positive body language and the ability to interpret and respond well to different environment.

For example, a person of good social skills will know not to talk loudly in a quiet office environment.
Feeling of insecurity also play a part in maintaining friendships. When people feel insecure, they put on a facade, or a mask, to hide their true selves. If you put on a facade, people will feel that you are not genuine, so they can't connect with you.

To make friendships...

1) Simle (alot) > People respond positively to a genuine smile. It also helps you to look and feel positive and friendly.

2) Avoid wearing black. > Wear bright, cheery colours instead. Black makes you look aloof.

3) Take initiative to say Hi> Good conversation starter beings with asking your potential friends more about themselves. ( jobs, interests, hobbies, traveling experiences)

4) Do volunteer work.> Volunteering provides an avenue where people who share the same passion can come together. A common bond makes it easier to establish friendships.

On my personal note, I do agree on some points which was mentioned above.

Good friends are good for you. We matures together and strengthen our bonds despite distance and absence. The strength of a friendship is tested and proven when you return after a long absence and feel like you have never left.

Reminds me of my friend Danielle, who had went to NZ for studies after her O Levels. I can still recall the very first time we met, when she returned to Singapore for the first time. I was worried that I may not have know her as much as she may have change during the past 2 years.

I was totally wrong, there was no awkwareness between us yet the feeling for this friend is even stronger. This reunion is always heart-warming and unforgettable. We've picked up a thread that hadn't broken despite the distance.

Although she has decided to stay in NZ, but I believe we will remember each other in our hearts.

Another person who is also special to is Nicole, I've know her for like many thousands days. Since the age of 8, we have been together in school, classes, church, school bus, Bus 17, swimming lessons, bathrooms (>.<), beaches and many more. We do share a special bond and friend between us. A friendship which started from having fun at school to spending timing to establish similar interest and background to now sharing now and then the experiences of the different path we have taken. (more from her then me la, I'm more a listener) Kudos to you.

In the last 7 days, many things has happened.

I've enjoyed the sunshine, the wind blow, the kite flies, road slides,lovely wind chimes, peacefulness, quiet night, best companies, beautiful nature, and the simplest things of many. But I've also experienced the worst temper and saddest moments.

Definitely, there was surprises.

Thanks Puileng and Evan for the lovely spend with me at Sentosa and Vivo city. We should have more of such trip to the beach, under the sun (with sun block, a must - if not like now, peeling and dark like crazy)

Thanks Mical, Melissa, Norman for company at the Botanic Garden. It was a lovely morning to noon till evening session. Yes. Just sitting on the mat and get "burn" under the sun with little shadows...(totally red face at work next day).
Thanks Irene and Steven for the precious time taken from busy school and work. Great to see them. Love the Wind Chime and necklace. Thank you for the heart to heart talk ...its been so long. It was great and so missed. View from Orchard Central is "good"!

Thanks Candice, Eddie, Damien and Kaiway for spending time on the special day of mine... we should gather more often. But definitely not midnight "soul" call for supper on a weekday (exclude fri) and sat, sun. It's impossible to achieve desired answer one! January. Year of Tiger. 12 yrs past.

12 years ago. I was so different from now. History has begin to be unclear. It is true that memory fails as time goes by. I only remember the critical events.

I want to say a Big THANK YOU to friends , pals and soul mate I've met in NYP - MK0405 and NYPSU. For the your presence has play a part in shaping who I am now.

Graduated from NYP for almost 2 years, if you seldom meet me. I suppose you're find me more tone down already. :) Good thing right. More relax too.

Life has been more stable, minus all the ups and down from school events, camps and activities.
Regular time on weekday and freedom on weekend.
Some some quality time wth different friends is Good too.

I love simplier things. Less surprises are fine, more thoughtfulness is appreciated..

Still back to the time, I want love to walk around, roam around, shop around, eat around and relax around on my own.

I dont expect any one to remember, but as long as I'm happy. It's most wonderful thing.

I really miss the days we meet daily, attend classes, discuss at meetings, play in su office, plan events, run events, cheer in camps, laugh at each other, support each other, make decisions, project presentation, perform when need to, get wet together, cry together, get angry together, and even at times when we ignore each other.

What do I really want?

I think this is one question which many people are asking themselves at different stage of life.
At studies > Do I want to score? Do I want to get the best/first? Do I want to get first class honours?
At home > Do I want to sleep more? Do I want to watch more TV programs? Do I want to do chores? Do I want to use the computer? Do I want to do face mask? Do I want a new laptop? Do I want new decorative items?
During shopping? Do I want to get this dress? Do I want to grab the sales discount opportunity? Do I want to spend so much?
At meals? Do I want to eat at restaurants? Do I want expensive places? Do I want cheap and nice food? Do I want to keep my stomach full? Do I want to gain weight? Do I want to lose weight?
At work> Do I want some coffee? Do I want to impress my boss? Do I want to perform? Do I want to work for money and nothing else? Do I want to be promoted quickly? Do I want to have higher pay? Do I really want this job?
At holiday> Do I want to enjoy? Do I want to explore? Do I want to rest or shop? Do I want to better understand the culture of others?
On bus/train> Do I want to seat? Do I want to give up this seat for elderly/ needy? Do I want to listen to music?
With friends> Do I want to share more with them? Do I want to know more about them? Do I want to enjoy the time with them? Do I want to sacrifice time and spend with them? Do I want them to understand me better?
At event? Do I want to be the most outstanding one? Do I want to be the silent one? Do I want to socialise more? Do I want to enjoy the benefit from it?

In our lives, or even mine, there are many more "Do I want..." and certain times we are very sure and confident of our choice and decisions. However, there are bound to be times when we are unable to decide.

What is right and what is wrong? Who can tell us.

How difficult is it to make a decision.. well its difficult for me to explain. :P
But it is definitely easy for me to say -

I want to be more trusting.
I want to be more forgiving.
I want to be more patient.
I want to be more loving and,
I want to be more faithful.

How difficult can this be done? I don't know. You'll be my witness and let me know If I've done so/not.

Then, what do YOU want?

*I want to feel the slowness of time passing as I write this post till the end of the day.

Tired Weekend

Oh what a weekend! I felt tired. Extremely tired.

It first began with a night long practice in church for sunday's hymns on Friday night - after work I have only waffles and curry puff as dinner. Practice was at 8pm. Still i was slightly rushing for time.
Initially, planned to meet mical at CP for Starbucks coffee and study but practice ended later then 9.30pm. It ended far more later then I've expected. 11pm.

Yes it's 11pm, when we all head home from church.

Just about 8 hours later, we meet at church to set off for a retreat. We gathered to head to St Peter and Paul at 7.45am!

The retreat was suppose to start at 9am but we were told 830am. Early is good but I've not had any food yet except the Maggi Mee supper I had last night.

Retreat was good, eye opening to other choirs of other churches. It was in celebration of St Cecilia, the patent saint for all choirs. A Mass celebration marks an end to the retreat at 1.30pm.

Wonderfully and miraculously, could still make it to Vivo City to meet Mical and Mel for Shopping. Felt tired and sleepy. It was lunch time so I decided to go Starbucks and get my favourite drink ; Peppermint Mocha. and 2 Belgium waffle wth honey.

Yummy! This was great!

1st stop was Zara - Mel's got a long sleeve blouse which she needed badly to buy for work
2nd stop Warehouse - n/a
3rd stop Esprit - n/a
4th stop Mango - Mel's got her working pants. Mical got herself a Dress! How wonderful!
5th stop Osim roadshow - Mel to run her social errands while Mical and myself was all eyes on the Vivo City Drummer Boys!! Cute, active, interesting and fun to watch.
Mel left us.
We went walking in TANGS, dinner at White Dog, Nichii and G2000.

At the last 2 stops, we bought pretty much stuff. Blouse for Mical and a office dress for myself.
For the first time, I bought a office dress!!! How unbelievable.

While Mical found her pants at G2000, I've got a Cranberry lip balm from The Body Shop.

ps: Hopefully, it'll work will with my sensative lips. :P

To make my mental mood worse. As usual, I attented sunday morning.. (panda eyes le) afterwhich choir practice. Home, change, out for meet up ex-SU pals at Marina Sq. :) manage to catch a rest at Kovan Mrt while waiting for Candice and Nizam.

At MS, we catch the Christmas Carol (3D) and it was 13 bucks. :( . Just this once...
Fun and crazy bowling session which strikes, washing the drains, dropping the bowling ball and all the funny scenes..

End the day early with dinner at home and now checking emails, register for my Kr classes, study a little and update this.

Really tired. now i'm turning in early to have good conditions for a new and short week!! hehehhe :P

ps: next weekend is gonna be happening too!!! ok Jean dont too happening. Must study..

my greatest reward from Bali Trip

My greatest reward for this trip is to see Dini again after almostly more then 4 years, I think.

She was so sweet that she took a day off on sunday to spend the time with Candice and myself. Her boyfriend, also fiance, even took 2 days off. For us? Indirectly, I suppose. Jokingly I said to Dini, " He took for you, and you for us!" :)

Before the trip I heard from her that she rides since 13years old. WOW. I didn't know that.
Candice took Dini's bike and I took Gusti's bike (her bf). Told Dini, " You take care of Candice, my friend, and your boyfriend take care of me, Dini friend." Weird right, but it make sense la..

Candice can get to know Dini while I get to know her boyfriend a little.

We spend nice moments at the beach, at sunset.

As usual, my madness, ask Dini to do the jumping shot at sunset. Really memorable. It was her 1st time doing such thing. Good for her.

My 1st time to experience something like "lamp light dinner" as the whole stretch of restaurants experience "blackout". Thus, the only source of light are the oil lamp and moonlight. It was also a very fresh seafood dinner.

Although we left a lot of rice, but the place creates a nice atmospohere with company of music, songs and dance performances.

I still remember the scenic view from the status of Garuda Wishnu(top down) on the shores of Bali. We took some really lovely photos here.

Planned dinner + karaoke with church choir mama san.. and ah ma san... :P wow 1st time..

It been always lovely to go to church and gather at the choir wing.. though almost 90% of the member are old enough to be my mama of even ah ma while the 10 % is myself and a 14yr boy (panist) . There is no politics bettween them though older persons can argue... / mega discussion at times but the mutual relationship are just wonderful. :) no stress unlike being in a youth choir/ other choir..

Cos everyone truely wana sing for God - simple intention ,,, simple thought and simple contribution..

Watching STOMP @ Esplanade with Pui Leng

It was very good. Very beat, very clap, very little motion friction and action sets the atmosphere and tempo just right. It was a group of wonderful audience for the wonderful musical.
Though I've not really played an instrument but this is really one that many can appreciate till standing up and applause!!

Email, Msn, F2F chit chat, call, sms. These are all sorts of communication which can be used to convey, discuss and suggest ideas/possible solutions which eventually is finalised through the same channel, yet again.

On an average, you need time for daily needs and tasks. All above comway(s), some may have immediate effect otherwise opposite. However, with all these channels available, a problem still lies. The "Voice".

The, "Voice" out of all your concerns, all your worries, all your inconvenient, all your unhappiness, all your confusion, all your unwillingness, all your difficulties, all your brillant ideas(if seem so to yourself), all your frastration, all your restraints, all your concerns, all your fears, all your second thoughts, all your suggestions and most importantly all your presence.

Last day of Sept, at 6.25pm, a 2mins(approx) temor was felt in Singapore. Right in the office on level 9, we all felt it when many were in the mids of dicussion, working etc. You could really feel the light sway and see the poster frame hung on the wall moves. Ever since I started working, this is my third time experiencing this.

Everyone was still quiet calm, a minute or two later many begin to pack and call it off for the day. This was my very first time witnessing most staff knocking off at 6.30pm (in a crowd out of the office building).

Here, may family of those affected are consoled, those who have lost their house may soon have a shelter with comfort and warm, may everyone still carry with motivation and have courage and never give up spirit in life. Date: 30 Sep 09

11 Sept 09 - Voluntor at the SCB Sports for ALL event with beneficiary MINDSVille ppl. It was a great day of love, care and sports.. all in one.. Took the staff voluntor leave :D End early and met Melissa for dinner cos it was held at Bukit Gombak Stadium... so far... now i understand how Mel felt when travelling to school at least a bit.... (though too late to understand)

13 Sept 09 - Watching JUMP @ Esplanade!!! with Evan and Puileng.. I've missed it last year so this time I'm not going to missed it again!! :D It was fantastic! Very Funny and interesting. Humur all the crowds with their actions, non-verbal language..good sound effect and lightings. Had a good laughed. Realized I badly needed that since my last laughed which was at the cinema with Mical watching the Proposal! The artist were really skilled in their actions.

There was a part where they invited an audience to join in the show.. as Singapore Master!! that was hilarious.. the guy did nothing yet they made it seem like Wow ! he's the singapore master..more powerful then them.. funny. Gave him the JUMP jumper.. omg that is so cool. I want that jumper too!..too bad..they dont sell it. (sad) Puileng say go Korea maybe can buy it. Who knows... :p

Thumbs UP!! Can wait for the Stomp Performance! Better dont disappoint me! :)

Chat till really late . . .been so long that i last slept at 3.30am Opps..only 3 hrs of sleep before waking up again...lost half my spirit the next day! tea and yogurt didnt help much to make me stay awake. Lol ...Soup spoon food is really healthy - so much veggies..
Realise that recently not so keen in shopping ...how? Save money loh.. its a gd thing.

Blink Blink ! its been so long since I last update.. opps! you must be thinking what i'm busy with ya..

Well many! So many!

School has just started for 3 weeks. Cool about it as I've had a well spent 2 months break. Though I do not know about how is my results(coming in 2 weeks time) but keep it as 平常心 will be the best. :)

Went hiking from Machritchie Reservoir to BUkit Timah hill, watch many movies..UP, The Proposal(excellent! so hilarious!).

Offer my energy and time as Voluntor on two separate occasion. Learn quite a handful, I should say understand a lot bah.

Expose to the wonderful sunlight! Cycling at east coast. Visit the Marina Barrage!!

Attend chalet at friend and friends's gf birthday. Late night chatting with the person(s)I've love and cherish since poly! WOL you know who u are.

Funny notation: First time driving myself home yet the car wasn't my dad's nor mine... (dots dots dots)

Meet up with a special friend who flew in to Singapore from Taiwan. Knew her in poly back then. Sweet Angel!! Miss you still!

A friend whom i've lost 100% contact,Dini, she "found" me from BALI!!! hahah She kept my contact (written in her book) thats why I'm nvr going to change HP no ma! This is so important.. planning to go Bali in Oct w Candice..

Ever ready at choir and confident at singing too.. choir with the "motherly and grandmotherly" ladies are so much fun and joy! :P

Did a small makeover? hahah cut my hair shorter.. still have it straighten for easy maintenace also.. opps am i lazy ? ohhahaha. ..

Brother was back from San Fransico.. hahha so nice huh.. bought me a Coach bag.. but still its a bag to contain things...

My cousin was married, though its her second marriage. Still give her my upmost blessing :D

Went for Spa with Nicole.. hahha crazily bought a 6 session package.. share share with her.. but its really cheaper with it compare to ever single trip.. anytime you can just go, no expiry...

Meet up with godsis, heard she's getting married. Congrats! :)

Signed up for Women 10K and Standard Chart marathon... must start exercising le...and get ready for a good sweat soon!!

Work is getting tighter and busier.. good and bad.. Still thing will work out somehow or another.. :)

Went a different outdoor sport - Horse riding!!! OMGosh fantasia experience though still worried and fearsome at some point.. overall Great and thumbs up!! Great company of Mical and Zibin too!! :)

It was a late afternoon arrange for Simpla Bday celebration.

At Marina Barrage, with Puileng (bday girl) and Evan and I.

Traveled to Marina Bay Station and hop on the shuttle bus.

Went for a tour to see the intro on the barrage which has just opened recently.

End at the cafe with calamari and brownie bday cake from Spageties.

Continued the walk to the 8 pumper i think .. that can clean up an oplypmic pool in 9sec together.. woo.. really.. ?

Up the barrage was an open field area, grassfield.

Ready for a nice pinic with Nuts.!! Thats wat we brought.. :)

This day was madness in many ways. Made Candice really pissed and lucky Nizam got the best solution, or else I have to 'knock wall' already.

Catch Night at the Musuem specially with Candice, Eddie and Nizam as I avoid it on Saturday.
Great show, funnier and more interesting than the 1st.

Next, crazy games at minds cafe. Even play who had the most dirty minds.. seems like N---- loh. haha.. Well, Huiying then join us at Madjack for dinner.

They really service good quanlity food but long service waiting time for just 1 cake! Time required to bake a new cake.. omg! Just say sold out! sigh...

*interesting day. Saturday was a good one too! lunch at Grand Hyatt, Mezza9 was good worth it for set lunch with excellent service compared to normal restaurant. Good place to pamper urself! Great food!

KangXi musuem really magnificant but sadlly too many ppl, forget about the peacefulness of musuem and its inner art culture. Hai.. wat a waste.. if got time i may want to slowly observe again. Just another $8 for a second trip though the 1st was free!

Thursday, 21 May 09 - 4th paper Corp Finance - at all stake i place here..

Done. Coast cleared.

Feeling so much different when I return to office on Friday. Can now concentrate fully at work and at play le. I know deep inside this is one exam that I may not have done as well as before. PT study FT work - may not work as well for me. Athough I've dont PT work and FT study, however, the concerntration then was study so full concentration was there. But this is a different case as you need to focus on your future - both career(work) and study(contnuity). This is something which dreads out all your mental, physical and emotions energy.

Does this means I cant multi-task? Maybe not, at least i know I've tried my best to maintain both.

Last few weeks, work was piling and backlogs too. I know things are pretty out of hand and pretty bad due. Coming week, I'll adjust and get all items back to the right track.. hate the incompleteness.

Now, arranging and planning catch up with friends whom I may have not contact for the many months.. but must still watch the pockets.. :)

Results : comes as it does.. so not bothering a lot. may consider to reduce the no. of modules i'm taking and prolong the graduation year.. well..have to do some weights first..before deciding.

Life is always about factors and weights then decision.

But the conclusion is to live life to the fullest the way you will never regret and remembered happily.

When alive just make sure you are fed and clothe to continue this life journey.

Earning so much money for what ever reason are only for temporary reason. You ain't bringing these with you at the end of live. Maybe leave for your predecessors but cycle repeats for them as well..

Feels like a student (real) now. Though still a little slag.. but I'm bucking up. Just needa speed up time i earned is reducing by seconds.

Yup! I'm taking a break from work and concentrating (into) books. I know it aint that tough so I'll made it. Its all about discipline and motivation. Its all in the mind. Absolutely true.

No more wasting time - I earn this 2 weeks and I'll use it the way I want it.No more manipulating of my time. Hot weather - erm still alright. still with long pants in a closed room w/o air con. Aint that hot too.

Good Friday study, went Mac @ sengkan sport complex.. Goodness gracious ..Black out actually happens at Mac. How rare!

Sat and sunday -- nvr touch.. pretty upset .. did only 1 chapter on monday only.. Now its tuesday. Spend morning w Mum at breakfast. Thats how fast morning passes but nvm since its a rare opporunity so little sacrifice is worthy. Also makes you work doubly harder. Yea!

I will conquer all of you. Just wait and see. And better avoid heaty stuff.. feeling pretty uncomfortable le.

Down w cold. Yet the afternoon sun is still so strong.

Past, when i have cold I could still go for class, do projects, do events and tahan even longer.

But today, totally beaten by it. Thought I could bear with it till night time when I finish my PoBF revision lession but I was so wrong.

pass 11am - 一把鼻涕一把泪。 kept flowing out.. gosh... I also dont want to spread it to other colleagues so decided to see a doctor and end work half day first. Sob still have somthing not done but i didnt stay till end. Then Monday have sort out that agian.

Medicine - doctor ask if i wan dowrsy one or not i dont know also. So he gave half. Day not dowrsy night dowrsy.. hahha okok ... dont know got different not. hahha

Mical was so sweet as I met her for lunch before seeing the doctor. Ate porriage with me and cook me Barley water . hahaha although she never taste it before giving me as she just added aga ra-tion amount of rock sugar. Seriously it was not sweet so dont worry I finished it. Thanks.

Realise that friday night 7pm shows arent that nice too.. so i'm here to update my blog.

Looking forward to tomorrow as WOL is setting off to Sentosa!!! A day break from study bah and hopefully i'm better tomorrow cos i dont want to use my 一把鼻涕一把泪 and cuild sandcastle. hahahahah

Jia you with my studies as yes memomtum getting there .. just need to fasten it up.. apprecaite so much for the support from my boss on emphasizing he put my studies 1st. and are confident that i can still perform at work.. Now I know, an employee, at a workplace. the most important thing is you need a boss who regconises you in effort and work yet understanding. Thats important.

But you also need always be able to support you boss and team mates at all times than the r/s is mutual and balances well. !!! Working and studying may be tiring but starting to like the process. hahah funny right.. but good sign.. hao de jia you loh..!!

My First ! Phuket!

Yes, this is my first trip overseas -- to Phuket.

The 5D4N trip was memorable and experiencing...at least for me I know. we took Tigeraways on Boxing Day, 26th Dec 08 evening flight. It's been years i've been on a plane. Excited and happy. though not with parents. Looking forward to how it will turn out to be traveling with friends.

Frankly, I wanted to go so planned this for awhile. Asking and confirming parties, deciding location, booking flight dates and searching hotels, buying and sorting things to bring and activities to do there. Importantly, saving for the trip.

Hotel: Stoney Monday Oasia.
This is suitable for free and easy backpackers. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay during the trip. I can recommend this place. Friendly and nice hosts. Pricing is very reasonable. Best to contact them directly.

Day 1: Reach at 8pm.
We check in and went straight out for dinner.. Hungry ya.. food on the plane costs.

Night market and stalls are really busy and populated with many tourists. Surprisely, the locals could understand quite a bit of Mandarin, speak pretty good English and many other language.

Night live there is really active. Food, shops, restaurants, pubs, bars, seafood is throughtout the whole stretch. We took the chances to ask about the tours along the road stalls. There were so many of them.

Day 2: Quick breakfast @ Stoney.

Out we go to decide on the tours we wanted. Give it to Eddie and Candice with their bargaining power. I was not needed frankly speaking. Lol. Like observing them when they are bargaining. It kind of interesting. Nevertheless, we got a pretty good deal for 3000 bhat for 2 island trips and 1 night show at Simon Cabernet.

Missed the Fantasea show, but next will still have chance.

Took a stroll down to the Patong Beach. Sun was scotching. Brightly lit at the beach. 360' different from sentosa la. All the brightness and energy emerge from the look at the beach. Wonderful.

Too bad we did not have any sunbath. Next time I promise must sunbath there.

It was stll and nice place and backdrop for photo taking. Just look at the photos and it proofs all.

Stop by their only shopping centre, wonder around and at impluse we decided to settle down with traditional Thai Massage at i think 300 Bhat.

I must praise the Miss Massager, she was really kind with me and I felt really confortable and relax. But Candice had experience the cracking sound from her back when twisting.. It was loud. Hahahah....

For dinner, we settle down for the commom roadside stalls. Seafood soup and noodles are pretty commom there. Spicy can still be avoided largerly. Not worries if you dont take spicy food.

Day 3: Speedboat to Snorkeling and Phi Phi Island.

Out and up on the speedboat! Wow .. it super duper fast !!! My first time on speedboat. We went to the front.. Fly!! Our hair, cap, even slipper could jump too. hahaa it really incredible.

Even more incredible is the view and the scene of the nature, islands ( i mean stones! ), sun, sea and wind. OMG. Truely spectacular!
Maya Beach. Wild monkeys too! Given a chance to feed them! Naughty tour guide tried to scare me too. Lol

Snorkeling, first time. Didnt get used to it but it will better next time.
Fishes were so close and corals are really big and pretty .. kinda deep too. Feet dont touch the bed at all.. if touch... that's gonna be terrible. hahaha... cos i can swim !

Canoeing into the island's inner secret was just great. Dark yet mysterious. Dangerous yet adventurous. At times we had to really lie low to pass the low part.. hahah Interesting stones and scalpture too!

Up, Down. Fast, Slow. Energetic, Weakly. Ambitious, Subtle. Dangerous, Safe. Constant, inconsistent. Enjoyable, Disgusting. Dared, Feared. Glad, Worry. Future, Past. Front, Back.

Another thing that swing most is a Mood. Is this in control? I have no idea. I only know the result. Either pissed off or feel blissful.

Good example. 7 Dec, completed the Standard Chartered 10 Km marathon. Felt really good and happy. Next hour or so, I'm pissed by my friend. Spoilt the whole day.

Stayed at home recently, glad and happy that I have all the time I want. But irritated by the fact of missing friends yet don't want to meet them. Super duper contradicting. x_X

Having my block leave soon. Looking forward and the trip to Phuket. A night spoilt cos I Missed My Corporate Finance class. Freak!! It lesson on Dividend Policy - one of the most useful and interesting chapter I would like. And very related to work. But missed cos of work and for block leave. See how contradicting life can be. The most terrible fact is that is the last lesson before term break!!!!! Freaking irritated and sad. Same complained to norman again. Sorry for that. Cos i know only you will entertain my such msg.

Mical made it better when she initate to ask out for study on sat. Withdrawn initially. Tried to politely reply that I may not want and change topic. But she kept returning on track on the topic. Yea. At the moment I'm fine to meet with her. Maybe I really need someone to accompany to study as I'm seriously getting no where! I hate this. Its so stupid and I'm seeing this happen. Its even more stupid. Crap.

Frustrated so decided to blog. Yes, it tonight that these happened.

On the LRT. This theory surfaced. Don't know if you agree.
Your family are the parent tree sheltering you at growing stage.

When you grow up, your limbs, knowledge, humane, feelings, teaching and culture are the roots that grow deep and strong into earth holding you real tight and firm in the forest. In this, you can weather against any storm that comes your way.

While, friends, are the same species as you whom you share the same soil and environment when growing up.

But if bad weather you choose to let go, you will lose your roots, and fall. You may fall but friends are near the environment whom will give you the cushion support to prevent you from complete collapsing. Your family, will block the bad weather even before it reaches you. SO You Should Never Let Loose. Hold and Grip Tight to the roots in that soils of that environment where you grown up. You can grow very very tall to see, feel and participate in the world. But you don't need to transplant to other environment to be in the World. Cos in those place. Trees around you are not the same species in the new environment with new soil. Most importantly, you lose your shelter.

Finally settle down at the table with my reference text. Surfing the UOL student portal. Random check at email.

Where I receive a warm and touching regards from a friend. I laugh and crap with this person so often then i do to others. It was unexpected to recieve a heartwarming message from this person. It was personal so I shall not share with you who this person is. Lets name this person, xiaoling bah.

Opened my mails, read the first msg. I ignored it be it watever msg it was. Next msg had a unique title! I was surprise too.

Went on reading. The very 1st sentence has made me teary already. Repeatedlly i read the 1st sentence and yes.. the more i read that 1st sentence goodness i'm gonna cry. In the library, I dont want to be label and a mad or heartbroken women so i kept reading although the 1st sentence is really difficult to finish.

Sorry i'm not sharing content with u. But from xiaoling's msg, I've realise that she has grown up a lot. compare to a few years ago. Yes, i agree 21 means some changes in our life. But in my opinion, do not take 21 as an important indicator or something which determines if you have achieve something successful in your own context. It makes your life worse.

I once remember either eddie or norman said this. 21 is only a convienent number which the official state that you are an adult with resposibility of what you do. If you do wrong, get punish. Conveient age to draw the line of punishment.

20 was scaring. Like going into another phrase. But come to think about it, not exactly. I trust that we all need to live to the fullest and have lovely, precious and long lasting memories in the whole of our life we have lived.

It's all in the mind. If you do not agree. There is nothing i can do cos i dont want to influence or create mega dispute on this topic.

I do love all my gals and pals whom I still keep in contact with, be it once a year or frequently. In all it counts. Pardon me for the coming drastic changes in my life for the next few months cos i'm gonna change my lifestlye in stages.

Give me some time as I need to recharge as well and redevelop some objectives(good time as the new year is coming).

If you throw me aside after this period. Be it. I wouldnt bother to get you back when I'm back to the happy me.

I love those words above. It just seems and sounds - Wow!

On Air, is a Korea drama I've watch recently. Share about the stories in the Korea entertainment industry. It is not fantasy not idol type of dram like Taiwan Idol Drama. The scriptwriter is great, cos its so real and close to life. Actors are good and each of them has weakness and good points in their characters. Balances the story of the show. No more Cinderella and Prince Charming storyline.

In Water, I've missed this feeling for very long. Months I think, cos I recently has been ON TRACKs instead.

I'm really curious how deep is earth? Beneath us? What's there? Especially, beneath SG's earth. Early to class this evening. I stood in the classroom where I had a great view of the SG's harbour port and surrounding. Constructions and constructions around. Oh man how deep have we dig and how far more can we dig?

Above Sky. I misses her who is above sky and already in heaven.

Looking at Mel's blog, in august and now, I seem wore out. I need to study. Too far back. I save and thrift as much as I can just because I want to depend on myself to finish school. This is the reason I didnt apply for local U, even if I did for SMU, it was only action action for my dad to know i tried.

But why am I not putting enough effort to work on my books. I need to mug. However, I'm always caught between social life and other commitments. If you know me, to my friends I mean true friends, I'll never take "No, I cant make it as an answer" cos i never hurt much to spend time out with friends. NOW, I do feel the hurt. On my time, study, capital saved for studies fees.

If I'm doing well for studies then when am I striving so much to watch my finance and stuff. I'm doing so cos i want to study, pay for it. So I did the most ultimate crazy idea to motivate my self.

At this quiet moment where peace with quietness is least heard in the night when my grandma was around in the past. Her voice has become the significant power which kept the nights going and busy for people around her.

This voice is very special.

When I was younger, I was slightly Burned bu those sparking fireworks sticks by my cousin during CNY. Crying badly, I heard her voice scolding at my cousin. Loud and clear. This was the very first time I heard her raising voice.

Memories of her birthday celebration was not exactly clear to me as we'll always have a big family photo taken. And I'll always need to stand on a stood or be carried by my mum. (hahah...too small)

Eery CNY, all grandchildren will wish her good health and properous new year. Her reply would always be 'wish us excellence in studies and be good' and the last statement will be ' Thank you God' in hokkien.

When she scolds whoever, it becomes louder and stronger. But she never scolds us (grandchildren). She shares her story about bringing up 7 kids, Ah Gong and many. Reminding us to always pray too.

Shopping and walking around especially Changi Airport is her favourite, even she on the four wheels vehicle. A passion never fail.

Time passed, age and health physically begins to challenge her.

Last marriage, she attended was definitely and memorable for all.

She is also stubborn at times. This is also why she has her both strong legs remains with her till now.

However, all of this has become [It was.] on Saturday afternoon. Into God's Kingdom, he calls for her. Devastated but believe in the call of relief and new life for her. May the tears which flows washed away the sorrows of her departure to God's Kingdom and brings her to eternal life.

Plant grows, bloom and wither. Returns to its soil.
Sun rise, shine and set. Repeats every day and night.
Breeze blows and passed and go. With very little notice.
New born cries for new life, the departed cries for eternal life.
In its nature, every single item has its entrance and departure at every moment anywhere anytime.

Believe that whoever he/she is, he/her existence will forever has an impact in the generations to come in every aspect. History is past but name and believe is continously passed down and stays spiritually in us as there is no limit to spirituality.

Time Value, Relationship Values

what is important now?

To me.

Time or relationship. Having realised that this issue has come back haunting me again. Still remember it was 1 year back when I've just started working. Back then, I was so tied up with time spend with friends and had no time for myself. Depressed with the type of situation I was in, yet I could not do much. Eventually, continue to meet up with ppl - poly, su, sec pals. Mainly during the weekends - burned.

Now and again, this feeling is returning. Isnt better than previous as now additional responsibility is put upon me. Student again. This has indirectly place a financial responsibility on me as well.

Needed to talk to someone but who actually understands. Yet I dont want to bring my troubles to others when they do have their own.

Can I declare sabbatical leave from wol?
I do not know why we only meet up only when there is birthday. I'm not asking alot. Actually, I mean, can't we meet as and when we miss each other for dinner, shopping or any other simple daily activities.

On my list when i want call ppl out for dinner or watever, 1st is candice, eddie....
It really doesnt matter if i call them and they cant make it some times. I'm fine.

Seems to me that it has slowly become an obligation to once in a while catch up with friends. Why is this so? Do I hate it? NO. Do I dislike it? Yes. Why? Because it has to come with feelings not a obligational task.

I really need a break to revitalise myself...

Oct weekend is so packed. Hate it. And why am I not concentrating enough in my studies. No one can answer this.

Until, Sunday after the HOPE run. It's been awhile I've attended the 11am mass @ church. Father Yeo's homily gave light to my dullness, that everyday we are bless by God to be awake and alive thru his works. Every day has a purpose and reason for you to live, to live his words and do his works. Be forgiving and passionate to every day's life.

To myself - Jean, dont you ever run away! U didnt in the past when memories were bad because you believed. Now, just believe and all things will be fine according to God's way.

Let me stay onshore away from the waves and tides, please.

Sometimes giving too much- you need to replenish.

*have i ever said something that hurt you significantly or insignificantly? Please tell me, at least i am aware and can take note in the future. as I understand its sad more than hurting to hear that from a friend.

After the nature trip, here comes the cultural journey..

Well hope you have seen the pictures and read the post on my trip to the Singapore Garden Festival.

Here is some cultural aspect to add some *spicies in my life and your pleasure in reading this post.

It was just about a week later, on 3 Aug, with my secondary karki - Evangeline and Puileng. We went to the Musuem leh!!! Cool ma.. lol i think you will think otherwise.

Why would we want to go to the most unfavourable place of all - the Musuem = boring?

NO its not at least for me. The last time we were there or even you was in school, right? That's right. It's been so many years, we have grown up and do the Musem in their display, setting and other aspects. That draws my curiousity.

Moreover, it was free entry for 15days in celebration of the National Musuem of Singapore. First, we went to the newly opened this year, The Perankan Musuem. To have a greater exposure to exactly the Perankan culture in SG. Well, there were many surprises and things which we have never heard or seen before. For example, the traditional wedding gown, accessories and customs.

They have also bring the aspect of different religion in the Peranakan culture. Here, I'll share with you some pictures we took.

Well, after my mathematics exam last x2 weekend on 27 July. To relax, I ask some good friends out to see the beautiful in my eyes. That's the Singapore Garden Festival.

New Energy New Effort New Beginning!!

Thanks to those who care for me via thru sms, email or calls. At least, I know someone is reading my thoughts and feelings here.

I would first apology for the mixed feelings and behaviour I had previously. I am now slightly better. I believe the cause maybe due to stress cos during the past few months.

It was friends, birthdays, gathering , meet up with friends for lunch and ex-colleuges. In additional, I had change of work environment in April. Time was needed for adjustment in lifestyle and some changes were happening.

Moreover, in June as I began to settle down at work, some changes came by. Study. Decided to further my studies, in view to increase knowledge and have a better understanding of my area of work and sector. There's only pros and no cons.

Hence, lifestyle once again has change and so did my expendture. More caution with spending like for food, entertainment, clothes and other luxury products. Need to save up so thats why. Paying for own education is not a simple task as you need discipline and motivation.

Some may think, why not get your parents to pay first then pay them back when you have started working!

Well, I think otherwise as we are of eligibe age to earn the bucks on our own and equally it means we have the ability to bear the cost of our lifestyle and expenditure. Loan may be an easy thing to get monetary issues settle for once, base on scenario. However, come to think about it, you'll be in debt when you graduate. Would you then want your elderly parents still continue to pay off this loan for you.

Saying you're pay them back when u start working. Thats gonna be part/whole amount of allowance you're giving your parents. Let's say the loan is $20k, Exclude interest rate.

If you give $ 300 a month to parents as home allowance and repayment of loan. You need to pay back 66 months. Wow thats like 5 years. If you earn $2400. After all the C** deduction etc, bal: $1900. How long do u want/need to repay this amount when actually these aren't allowance to parents in actual fact.

Image u need to pay this amount to the bank. They might have already start charging you interest rate. Then $20k would not be the final sum.

In summary, I mean work and earn for what it deem fit. Be responible to yourself, parents, family and others around. Every single action, words, thought you had would have an impact (visible and invisible).

Truely, working does make you grow in a different way. Unlike in SU, School, at Projects and at events. If you like your job, the people, the challenges, you're like working.

Man do I sound like superworkaholic?

Comeon! I'm just keeping my life just as exciting like poly days. Stay cool and chilled. LOL

To begin this entry, I simply had to refer to my 'diary calendar' to check what date is it today! shocking as I could not even remember the date. How can!

Now waiting for my class to start, suddenly felt tremendously tired and emotional till I want to make use of this 5 mins to pen down my thoughts and feelings. Instead of messaging my friends and 'disturb them just to keep me accompanied.

Lifestyle has been changing for me. Is it a tremendously change or a 36' change? I'm not too sure too. However, I know that my thoughts have change to practicality; words has become more forefront and blunt; behaviour had been even more individualistic.

I've once told a friend that (I need to talk to someone man. As I've been listening and accompanying others. Yet, I want time for my self. I want to relax and talk all I want about anything openly. Basically, want attention but avoiding companion.) How could this happen to me.

Did I close my own doors? or I am in the mids of destroying it.

Sometimes it meant no harm with those words of mine. But it just came out. Maybe I have no other ways of expressing myself better or in the way people seems to perceive of me.

Life just need to be really simple and cry out loud when you need to!

Truly, my words at times of truth from the heart has not change!

Wonderful, life is back to busy,packed and plan. You may miss me , yar I know.. (I'm so thick face right) so sorry cos you should have know this since the day we are friends. Yea.

Little little updates.. (if I have time, photos will follow - i'm saying IF)

Is April to June the period to have little babies? Yes - please tell me why! I'm fainting from birthday celebrations already. It's a non-stop thing with my friends man. Always finding myself either buying present or do cards ( hehe get a chance to shop at Made w Love). Man I need those time for myself!!!

Weekdays out for work.. night is for sleep, rest and short TV session.

Saturday - always taken up by something just not the thing i wanna do. Friends and friends and friends but they are from different clique. Wulala

Sunday - Church and either out again or beauty sleep once in a while.

*still manage to go swimming as I've always wanted. But recently end up with night swimming. It's not bad. Suggest that you can try too!

I would love to celebrate their birthdays but just that slightly too packed. Pinicing at Botanic Garden with Surprises for our 'Sweet' Candice was full with fun maker Chiho, Serious papa Damien, weird eddie and lovely jieying. (plus) Tweety bird's companion. wonderful yongsiang at dinner. Surprises of presents from heart. I've got the video, let me know if you wanna see her funny shots.

Mel's birthday at bedok reservior - adventurous. We had the tree top climbing, flying fox ( blacken my pants x 4). Night before was hectic - card making, cake making, shirt making etc. It's night burned out man. Panda the next day - but still have to hang on till end of day.

Song composer Chin Leong led us in the lovely song to Melissa under the moonlight, along the 'lake' ( haha bedok reservior, what do you think is the lake)... ok fine mega pool. Under the lights of stars, it was extremely romantic for WOL ..^&%$#@&!*.

Flown to ZOO for ED and Jieying's birthday. Another night of card making... and present buying with Candice. It's been > ten yrs been to Zoo. thanks to Nizam's friend we had it at a cheaper rate. Seen the Baboom, tiger, Monkeys, orang utan, polar bear (lying with four legs widely spreaded), zz....z....zz snakes, pretty flora. There was a exciting splash performance by penguins, sea lion and etc.

Latest, with Sec pals.. both celebrate together with me.. headache then plan what!NVM they have laid out the itineary for the day as they wished - same to present.. Faint! i dont have to plan or prepare surprise on their 21st!!! er... .. Alright Cards nvr mis out. But night at Nelly Dutty Irish Pub was my plot to be... The Awefully Chocolate Rum & Cherry Cake . - Puileng nearly spoiled the mood man! Phew.. both of them was still surprise with the cake. Yippy. Then the card. Glad they love it. Hugs.

Well myself, started my part time study at SAA doing Banking and Finance under UOL. i promise you that its not going to be an easy 2 years for me. But commo I/you have to do it means you have to do it right. Make it a happy and memorable experience ya. Agree?

Not many of my friends know it but just to tell you that I'll get real busy and not as free as the past. Please understand. If you dont, i cant be bothered to explain as well. :p

have lovely colleagues at work. interactive, interesting, fun and chatable. Work has been fulfilling and accomplishing. It's on the track, just that i need to put in more effort to grip the essence well.

Trying to get the scholarship so that I dont have to fork out so much $$ and not bother my dad. Solely pay out on my own. ( Target to achieve ) Even if my dad help with some. I'm of course gonna pay him back. Be it a trip or in other values. Yea.

Looking forward to the korean trip. though it might clash with class but since its a promise to go then commo be on and keep to it. Study extra hard when I',m back.

Been a while since we've met up, all thanks to our organiser who misses us so much! Cheers, Asilah!!

To say it correctly, 1 year, we have grad for a year man!! Wu lala!

Saturday was a bus, hectic and enjoyous day for me as I was such diligent that I woke up right 7am in the morning to get ready for a morning swim at Hougang pool. Being me, ask for company. Gave a call to the lucky ones early in the morning when the sun has just rise in hours.

Eddie - Surprisingly, he pick up the phone but to MY Surprise !! He was gaming with Kaiway!! [ that was he said on the phone] wow! I was totally dumb about it. The fact is someone is even more high then me to be gaming in the early hours when I just woke up to swim.

Nvm. Shall try the next target. Candice. Ignored and rejected my calls. Basically, this indicate that she is still sleeping and dont wish to be disturbed, let alone go swimming.

Fine, had a nice cool swim till about 9plus alone. Wonderfully Shiok!

Next appointment was the choir practice.. Goodness I was late for practice but nvm we only had 3 songs to do.. Phew..

Church wedding end smoothly.. at 12pm.

Third appointment of the day..lunch at hougang with damien (confirm) eddie (not confirm) candice (not confirm) at 12pm. Faint! Eddie and candice has yet to confirm at 12pm..

Well candice of course had lovely lunch prepared at home for her. Eddie Sleep-walked to hougang to join us. Yes, at the usual QiJi cafe house..

A flip, a blink, a sleep and months ago genie was still in the bottle! ..

At the very moment now, I've left the bottle of mine after 21 yrs. Truely amazing. Picking up my blogging again after months of uncertainty.

To begin with, 2007 was really relaxing or maybe lazy for me. Just as I've expected and wanted to rest since I've slogged for the past 2 - 3 yrs with neverending activities. Life then were satisfying and funfilling, additionally tiring as well.

Rest in 2007 - means no motivation? Is this the end? Nope. It has ended, my friend. I've grown from the original me to a person with greater sights and determination. 2008 has began great with new journey, friends, learns, dos and culture, most importantly is Opportunities.

The past 9 mths was really lovely to know you guys, gals. - Careen, sherine, Juliana, ejenna(interesting name), philip, koming, Sarah, wen fong and many. Please believe that you have play an important part of my life just as I've did to yours.

As I've embarked onto a new train which will bring me to my new destination, I'll never let these memories vanish. I would also love to share with you my story on this journey.

21 has been a indifferent year for me, as 20 was more significant as surrounding changes so is life. My life was impacted, so is my WOL, Su pals ( Candice, eddie, chiho, lee hui and damien's & our Mr Wee etc.) in different ways.

I'm relieved that I've completed studies in poly. The only word to describe those hectic schedule is Happy. Weird right? Simply because I have no regrets.

For the past 4 years after 'O' lvl, I've learnt to live life with no regrets and live today as if it is the last day. Only then your life will be satisfied and happy. Satify yourself with the needs, Maintain your wants. Just desire for your demands, you may not need to act on the demands cos you can do it by conditioning your mind. Eventually you soul and body will react to your state of mind.

21's commitment is to family, church and individual development in mind, soul and body. Too much time was spent in poly with friends, su gals and many. Time to settle for family. For family travel, family gathering in front of TV can be real meaningful watching Guess Guess Guess! Lol.

Lastly, friends are hard to come by as it takes lotsa courage to say hi, ask your name, smile to your, know you, understand you, forgive you, care for you, share with you, befriend w you and stay as friend for the rest of your life. Lotsa of courage right! Must agree lar.. or else you are an empty soul. :p

Motivations and I Love

Life's Motivation . What is it?

I believe many of you reading now have ponder about this before. Yes, i did too. Like what is motivating me now to move with life at [work] [school] [home] [with friends][interest]?

At times when we are despress or upset, we tend to ask ourselves 'What is the reason for working so hard?' or ' What have I done to be treated in this way?' or 'Why make our life so difficult?'

The thought that comes along is either GIVE UP-DONT CARE or NEVER MIND-TRY AGAIN.

Which do you choose or behave? Personally I would say never mind and try again as we alway say look at the BRIGHTER SIDE right! However, please beware the brighten side may sometime have its greyish side which you really need to WIDE OPEN UR EYES to identify.

The behaviour of a entreprenuer, empolyee, employer, student or be it home maker depends on the person's mood, emotions and mentality. Whatever their goals, dreams or wishes it may be, it will be a kind of motivation for them to complete a task, job or work accepted by them with willingness of course!

有心无力。 why are we like this sometimes? Is it that we gave up? Or we just needed some rest? Or We are just forced to do it for the sake of doing it? Or we are just following suit?

ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THEN WORDS. however i would say. BEHAVIOUR EXPRESS BETTER THAN WORDS. sometime action can be fake and perform without true intention [heart, 用心]. A person's natural behaviour will always be ORIGINAL,REAL AND IT REFLECTS THE TRUE INTENTION 真心- BE IT GOOD OR BAD.

A friend communicate with you, send you sms, give you a call, write you a mail, put your face on her desk/room, keeps our photo, shares the good and bad, always note your mistake, correct your wrong, speak their true feelings to you, forgive you when you make them upset no matter what - but can not be so evil lar, cherish the time spent and memories, wishes you the best and thinking of you sometime but dont tell you. Are true friends in my dictionary, maybe @#%!

Long lasting is possible and are made possible by above bah!

I love WOL pals. Because they remains as a significant role in this life and soul of mine.

I love and cherish the long years of friendship with nicole as we are rare gems found together for 13years bah.

I love the companion and relationship with Puileng and Evan since young, and I do believe we have many changes and challenges for us to make this 关系 even stronger then before. Since we misses time to spend together during mid teens life. And now beginning the twenties which is also big changes for some.

I deeply miss Dini in Bali and Danielle in NZ. Would love so much to fly and visit them. $$ ex hor.

Grandmother 84th birthday celebration!!

A big gathering for the whole family with almost full attendence of participants except those down with illness. Its been a long period since aunties has prepared the food for Ahma's birthday celebration. As the last few years, we either cater or book a chalet/bunglow at Pasir Ris Park. It was not as exciting as the focus is just makan and thats it. The main purpose of celebration spirit has not filled the air.

Recalling the past, we have lots of homecooked food by aunties and filled up the mega big dinning table and the cake become the main centre of attraction. Say a pray, sing a birthday song in english and chinese, cut A cake, take MANY group photos!!! Begin the sumptous meal to start the celebration.

It's so heartwarming as we gathering together as a big Family!!

Then ---> Some are overseas, busy with work, marriage, study and other matter. The attendance

weren't as desire as the past.

If you know, my grandma has been going IN and OUT of Hospital since CNY. My worries, concerns,

care and love for her that we can't let go. Especially one of my cousin is getting married this October. Everyone is wishing her well and good to witness it.

She is the one who gave us a life we have. She is the one who provided the possibilities that no one had. She is the one who has been the pillar of every blood and relationship. She is the only one that bond Every Single One of US together. There isn't other reason or person who can replace her in the hearts of everyone cos she is the AHMA we call and love!! :)

I do wish many birthday to come for her. However, like what she said, she is old and have worked for almost 70years of her age. It may be time for her to rest and response to his call when he needs her to.

Sometime she become the motivation for me at work. Coos in her time work is even more tough then now.

So I shouldn't complaint nor fuss about. We are consider as LUCKY and FORTUNE!!

WOL picnic @ Pasir Ris Park; cycling, games and food too!

Missing them! But i dunno why! Lol. Every day meet has change to meeting once a week or two weeks! :( sob thats why will miss. Zibin sent an SMS missing us!!! OMG can't believe it!!!

So have a picnic at pasir ris to gather and relax lor!! Cycle and makan lots of junk food!! Mical got for us the salad. Thx yo!!! Wonderfull stereo by norman's speaker give music and rhythm to the outing! the mega seating mat by Irene gave us the comfort of seating on the floor - not fear of ANTS nor Dirt! Zibin and norman's treat to Sushi and snacks!!! Mel's nice entertainment and laughter(very important) !!! and lastly my mother for the egg mayo for sandwich. Haha although they were relieve those were not prepared by me! haha.. I wanted to prepared lar.. but she act faster than me too!!

Attention!: Mical finally learning cycling!!! Good.
Zibin thinks that I'm shorter than him.. O.o fyi I'm 1.68 m tall
Some think they are thin. [seriously that day i really thought i was 'fat' but i didnt run cos NO run!!]Lol!!
I LOVE WOL NO MATTER WHAT! PLEASE MEET UP AS FREQUENT AS WE CAN COS I DON'T WANT ANY ONE OF US BE SEPARATED. :) TILL NOW WE HAVE CELEBRATED 24 BIRTHDAYS LEH!!! HAHAHA!

Swimming @ Tampines Swimming Pool; new swimming costume!!

Finally, bought my new swimming costume, cost me about $60 bucks!! OMG but worth it as I can finally

go swimming!! Its a grey and pink strip costume - not bad on me!! :P show you next time if you join me out to swim.

With evan and puileng, at tampines swimming pool! Meet my coach who look the same back in primary six. Haha!! We spent our time talking and never swim. In the end, we or just evan and I was burned RED.

Fish Manhanttan was were we settle our lunch! Not Bad I would say, cos impression of fish&co isn't very gd so dont hope much for this too! BUT it was worth a try!

Rush hour 3 was not bad too! cos it was definitely humorous with action pac.

Great day with old gals!!

puileng, evan - jia you for your studies, just two more years and you'll will grad together. dont worry i will work hard and be grad in two years time too !! my words to you - enjoy what you have now because when time past, it will never return but you can recall the memories!

Sun tanning @ Sentosa; sat the monorail, had sakae sushi

A act of impluse to relax under the sun and near the waters. Beach the best place to be at! With Nicole, we had a nice sun tan and under the sun talk for the late morning!

Monorail the new transportation to Sentosa. Short, fast and convenient. Went past the upcomign

Sentosa IR [ in construction] looking forward to a NEW sentosa!

Nioisy, active, lively and packed. to describe the place. Always have sakae sushi and chill there.
went to suntec city and bough The Face Shop rice toner - :p i am their member! discount offered to members only for that day!!

Dine at nydc - man this is the 1st time I was there - Not bad for the food and the mudpies!

Saw waikong at Olio! Man missing those times working there! and the food! Someday I wanna go back! But too bad clifford is not there. Meet conan at New York New York! He's been there for a year and so. still he look very thin and tired. Hope he rest well! Nice chat with him too!

Missing Dini - I wanna go bali to visit her!! Anyone wann join me.. Next year I'm going to plan for the trip. let me know if you are interested. Dont need too much $$ one. cos Dini stays there and she will be willing to be the tour guide! :P

After graduation, i started immediately at Great Eastern as an associate. By official, i did not take a break.

Now looking at then, 1 month is about to pass. This is a speedy time machine man!

I spent 2 saturday .. shopping (window) alone.. at china town and vivo city.

Hours spent: near 6 Hours

Things done:

1) Xray @ SATA for job purpose.. dont worry i'm physically healthy and good.

2) went to the mega this fashion to shopping and look for some simple working clothes which can stand in for the next few weeks...- Yes they were of help as working attire.

3) explore the chinatown street from centre to tooth relic temple to austria cheese pork hot dog to a wooden comb store then a coconut drink.

Wins: a wooden comb with massage function, clothes, nice egg tarts, wonderful aussie hotdogs, sweet coconut juice.. i miss pulau ubin...

Things done:

shop and shop and shop and shop, spent and spent and spent, for work for work and for work, got a watch a belt a jacket a top and a top.

Life sometimes is like a roller coaster ride with High and Lows. It will always bring you excitement or even thrilling feelings. Heart-attack, I would say. You can feel you heart 'hanging' in the air. Yet it gives you an itchy feeling. Why? Maybe it is suppose to make you smile and laugh throughout the ride.

JUST LIKE LIFE.

the week past. full of surprise and unexpected events.

a new temp take over me on 3 july at SCB. 2 days later, Quited- too stressed. I totally can't believe such thing when she is a SIM undergrad in Banking and Finance some more. O.O ?? It was such a good chance to build her CV. What a pity! In end, Jacy still have to one to help her, last week.

Friday, had graduation ceremony.

Lunch appointment with MR WEE - our papa. hehehe We treat him but he pay.. at the north canteen. Pop!! saw Huiping. lol Thought she was there for us.. - thick faced. No lar. she was going for her advance trial theory test. Get ready at Auditorium. Put on the gown. Sat in the Audi. Zibin and Mical was near me. Irene was beautifully make up for the ceremony unlike the rest of us.. or even majority of us. haha. Terence was with us. (Thanks Ter, it was lovely to have you with us) The guys looks smart. So is the beautiful girls from WOL. :P

Dinner at the Holland V something Cafe Restaurant which opens till 2AM man!! Wonderful food and Service (dessert on the house, Norman you missed it) Played Zhong Ji Mi Ma.

1st funniest dare - mical waved at the open window from the 2nd flr to the stranger outside and needed a waved back. The Guy gave a ' wat the hell stare.' She nearly pointed my 'signature sign'. LOL.

2nd funniest dare - I had to be a monkey at the same window panel and wait for a reply from someone. Hilarious part is the 3 ppl i target didnt reply yet someone from a far was responding (pointing and laughing) OMG. I even repeated it to proof to them that those stranger respond lar.. x_x.

3rd funniest - Mel did Jumping jack.. wasted lotsa time to convince her man!!

4th funniest dare - Terence was requested by irene to demo a cat walk which was super funny, sexy and it has showed off his 'assets'. He did not have to do that man!

We stayed there till 11plus.

B4 that, four super 'hot' ppl was on a car bonnet writings and colouring the puzzle (Present). [ ppl think we vandalizing - might even call police] Well its been quite long since we do 'MAD' things.

Terence's butt is always be the innocent victim for cars bump.

Cold Celebration at ESKI Bar - finally. Squeeze in the freezer segment ... burrr.. was out to the warmer place after a while and gotten a cosy area. Mical begin to work to earn for her puzzle pieces - that's like 100 pcs to complete. Mel and I tried on the Car and we nearly vomited due to giddiness.

She has to say touching words to all and earn SOME only.

Cool we stayed till real late. like 2am bah.. some had drink some had mocktail and juices too. NICE!

Prata supper@ Changi, were there to see BarBop* ( man in women's presentation) lol. Mical nvr been there so brought her to see. I've seen when I was primary 5/6 so that's nothing unusual.

Home sweet home @3am- 4am.

Graduation and Bday celebration.

Free employment status for 1 day - out from SCB.

Sleep till sat 2pm. omg I had to help out at the YDOY at expo at 2.30 ..

reached 3.30.. pretty fast. hehe..

it was a praise and worship with his grace nicholas chia bracing it. Wow its my 1st time seen so many young teens so high and enthu jus like a concert. maybe its been quite some time i've gone for a praise and worship session. Meaningful i would say.

Had a fall from the stage when i was removing the props. It was right infront of the pitch dark crowd and from the top. Damn it. But only hurt on my butt. In split seconds I felt and thought of nothing. No hurts on neck, back or even ankle. I was Lucky. He was there to protect everyone. I know it.

Only had Blueblack on my legs. SOOOOO BIIIGGGGG MAN!

Had weird dreams on that night.. I had a husband who was a ex-prisoner and the storyline was weird but seems to run smooth. Weirdest dream ever. Thought there was a msg for me. * maybe. Cant figure out though.

Visit Ah Ma on Sunday. She is still the same. On the Bed. The bacteria are still hitting on her legs.. not letting her go. - release from pain. Toes has totally declare dead and may drop anytime. Sad to say this. She has work her whole life and full of different medical history - thick till the doctors are shock.

Cousins wedding's this coming Oct - helping out too.. its been so long there is a wedding. Hopefully she will be able to see it.

She was even saying cant see mine. But I do hope and bless her that she can see mine too. Cos she is so dear to all of us jus like my Grandma who went off when i was 14. To think of her, I would still cry sometimes. Like now, the watering eyes.

2 July - a step towards the second half of the yr.

In this month of July, it seems to be quite eventful. Let's see.

July 2 - Princess diane's 46 Yrs and memorial concert for her celebrate by the UK for charity thru her two Princes.

July Marks the 10th yr of Hong Kong returning ..

July 2 - also marks the 10th yr recall of the financial crisis when Thai Baht went down... and comes along the asian financial crisis.

Early July/ Late June - New leader born in UK after Tony B**ir.
Next Day Bomb in UK .

July 2 - reports on new hikes for dengue affected area + Haze alert in Malaysia and hotspot in Indonesia.

This is such an eventful start of the month of July.
So is the start of my new journey.

Soon I'll be working in a new environment and know new ppl and learn new things. However, the setting is not a school environment. Sad to say this - I do really miss school not matter its NYP, SAC pri or Sec it is the place of belonging.

I'll soon belong to a new environment. Wish all is well.

Pals, gals, juniors, seniors pls feel free to get me involve in any hip, fun and exciting occasion of yours cos my heart are still burning to do some great and meaningful things.

Sunday - Did the Citi Milk (walk) Run for 4 KM wow .. is been long I've did such a long distance walk. With OCL , mical and her two other friend. Haha we were in the name of SPSD man..!! hilarious!

Its organised by the MILK ( Mainly I like Kids) - Yes i do like kids.
and many more other sponsors and organisers.

Until now I can spit out everything to this pal I've known for 12 yrs - the one and only one. . jus becos we know each other so damn long and there isnt anything to hide and hurting has nvr been the issue during such discuss or sharing.

it was an eventful weekend.

birthday celebration, haircut and treatment.
Eventually fall ill with a cough, slight fever, couple of drinks and up it goes the temperature. Maxi it hit 39.0'c wow that really rare for me to get this high fever.

Now it is a real sick situation. 2 panadol down and the fever went on like roller coaster. DOwn and Up ( in the middle of the night)

Still cant manage to get to work on monday. Gave a last minute notice for MC.

Love the morning breakfast with dad and mum at kovan - porridge with small dish.. papa's fav. Then doctor time!!

If cough dont get better and rashes appear - might be dengue fever!! OMG

Had a good sleep in the afternoon, medicines taking effect. Fever is like falling rain. Going down.

Cough still there! Worse now is the running nose.i would yi pa bi ti yi pa lei!! cry like no one's business. Shit!!

tuesday was better le. Hopefull can get better cos the antibotics is really damn big tablet lar. and I have 4 type of medicines in total. -.- Faint liao*

2 jun, sat - May Day JUmp concert 2007
Kaiway, jin hui, clement, david and me attended and witnessed the great and fantastic performance by 五月天. Lots of song they sang, old, new and popular ones too. Super as the already are. Thanks to kw auctioned the tickets.. and we went to the middle and stand.. * 2nd part of concert is damn high .. every one were lead to JUMP away from the earth surface. They are good with crowds man.

6 jun, wed - dinner with THE MEN
NS for sgprean guys are complusory so .. we had a little farwell blessing dinner with damien, yong siang, eddie with gals candice, jieying and me at swensen orchard. weird thing is today(10 jun, sunday) damien should already be in the camp BUT he was on MSN- I was surprise.. alright will disclose the mystery at my next entry kk!!

9 jun, sat - choir wedding and GSS 3rd shopping spree
1st time choir for wedding .. feel so blessed for the couple. i see the church, it was not fill up very much... but they are witnessed in marriage in the eyes of god so it does not matter.

However, I would wish that my own will have many ppl coming to share with me the joyous moment. and walking down the aisle and be offered the blessing from friends, family, pals, gals, partners, and many others.

Noon time, out in the GSS by 12pm - wow pretty early and not crowded.. thanks puileng.. we can avoid crowd. ok .. i'll wake up early next time. hahaha for the sake of less crowd and easy shopping!! personal items and presents.

its was a happy and farewell dinner for Mr Chew for SGX. well it seems like typical work life at SCB.
hear that he's under the 'white trousers' grp and will be offering his best to the country. Al l the best!

By tradition, every one is suppose to make a farewell speech to him.

O.O oh damn I was going for the dinner! Do I have to make that speech too? hahah Jacy said I just had to eat and laugh and that is good. At The Legend, Fort Canning park it was a informal gathering and throughout, I listen to what they have to say. One word, ' Impressive' cos the man who was leaving is a good speaker and excellent at expressing his thoughts fast, clear and humorous at times. As for others, were his friends and partners at work.

He said:

At work, different people look for different things. Some are craving their careers and some are just to be there and spends time with family. While there are very few people who are really there in the company who is truly serving it and doing the best for the company's good.

This he said was very true. Yet He found friends at the place where I thought would be so complicated.

Like I told Mark (colleague at work) that it was a surprise to me as ever since I went to poly - I nvr thought I would find real close friends. Here i am willing to eat my own words !!

Realise that it is about the WILLINGNESS to make friends or just be colleagues.

Now there is different perception in friendship at work. hahah ..

Getting along well with work place people.. but working till end June only. So sad.. cos I kinda like that environment there and the nice people. They don't put up airs and approachable. And most importantly - friendly and surprisingly polite LOL.. maybe its considered as a small universe there - we have Korean, south Africans, Australian, Malaysian, Singaporeans, Taiwanese, Americans, Canadians, Indians, Chinese. fantastic mix of culture.

Here an advice for A-Z Stress Management ------> Forgive, don't hold grudges. Be tolerant- not everyone is as capable as you. Unresolved anger and unforgiveness will eat into. Forgiveness may not change others, but it will certainly change you.

Offical 'Lamers day' aka Labour day - PH
Early in the morns, enjoyed the church's family day activities. Then realise that simple games can be real fun too.

Noon, zoom down to hougang Mr. Nizam's 21st birthday.. Cool thats 2 BIG CANDLES + 1 small candle on the cake. haha.. sri, ramzi, damien, jieying, eddie, allan. chiho were there too. got him a POA shirt .. light greenish look blue shirt - good for a change!

Rush back home and change for the next date!! at city hall sia. it the formal LAMERS meeting at suntec city. round and round the fountain still end up in swensen.. -.- as planned. kenny rogers. why only o>o chicken... ?? salad for dinner is also not a bad choice. Add an ice cream as dessert becomes fattening.hahah

hide in starbuck at tower two .. a quiet one which there were few souls around. chat and ended with a WTH topic.. makes me uncomfortable the whole nite..
midnight , had a bad dream, ? fighting and running away from cats.. OMG please.. i need peaceful sleep.

Church. Yoga. an hour or more at Jean yip.. not i hair cut lar.. wished i had.. i was there waiting for puileng to cut. looks nice though. flew to bugis at 3plus. shirts, skirts, shorts and the same.. Nothing really caught me sees and nothing really *blink *blink leh..

puileng getting frustrated w me and we end up at icon. My dressing room - finally i've gotta it. Thanks goodness, it was a nice one bah .. slightly exp over budget then cut a bit but for her.. i'm willing to fork out..

We had a chalet for our grad. and together we celebrate Mel's 2 0 birthday. It was hers memorable 20 cos we are in the same - no longer TEEN category! haha. Last yr was the princess treatment .. while this yr is totally opposite. Can't believe it myself.

Check in at 3pm. zb and mical join us together. personally i went DE shopping. Bought a slipper.. finally! During this period, TV addict mical watch a WOW chinese drama, the rest are on training for the casino opening in 2009. Lol!

Prepare for the BBQ but not really me.. we had the Fire starter man, bbq man , butter man and .. makan ppl. As usual games follows.. it was the 'pick 5' game that we had to ignore those who kana. slient but freaking funny. Then comes the body connections. Pick a body part and connect them with each other as Mical happily reads out. Weird posture came out and its really tiring for the main cast and funny for onlooking mical! -.O

I had shoulders and i'm connected to zb's elbow and irene's !! finger. Well, we still look find here. More to come.. prepare to laugh man.

Its the simple butterfly with arcylic crystal necklace.

First time working on such things, lol, pretty interesting to kill boring time and learn something new.

Asking why am I doing this, Simple, NBTD.

PRos and no cons to learn such things.

Next time I can do it for family, friends or even others. Who knows it will come in handy.
